August is right around the corner. Every year, store circulars advertising their "back to school" promotions is my first sign that it is time to start realizing summer is coming to a close.

If you are a mom, like me, the end of summer is filled with mixed emotions. Some parents look forward to the first day of school and others dread the very mention of that day.
